Cart discount field

Test discount input and Shopify's acceptance result.

Overview

The field cannot override Shopify's discount eligibility rules. A rejected code should stay understandable and editable.

Step by step

  1. Add or select Discount field in its supported cart drawer area.
  2. Choose the disclosure or expanded presentation and input appearance.
  3. Create the actual code and eligibility rules in Shopify.
  4. Test a valid code, an invalid/ineligible code and retry behavior. Confirm the resulting cart/checkout price.
