Overview

Scale's activation screen does not delete theme settings, products or orders. If custom or third-party code changed the theme, a supported update may still be needed.

Step by step

1. Check your connection, wait briefly and use Verify again. A service error does not prove unauthorized use.
2. A current official theme can use a previously issued, valid server-signed verification proof during a temporary outage.
3. That proof expires at a fixed time no later than six hours after its successful verification. Reloading, changing stored data or retrying does not issue extra time.
4. A first-time/unverified installation or an expired, altered or wrong-store proof cannot use outage tolerance. Contact support if verification remains unavailable.
